**What's Covered:**
- All functional components of the rifle, including but not limited to the receiver, barrel, bolt carrier group, trigger assembly, and other essential internal parts.
- Any manufacturing defects or malfunctions that affect the safe and intended operation of the firearm.
**What's Not Covered:**
- Cosmetic wear and tear, such as scratches, dents, or other issues with the finish.
- Modifications or alterations made to the components of the rifle which are essential to its function.
- Damage resulting from misuse (including failure to clean & lubricate), improper handling, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.
- Accessories and attachments not manufactured by Checkmate.
**Warranty Process:**
If you encounter a covered issue with your Checkmate rifle, please follow these steps to initiate the warranty process:
1. Contact us at 720-299-8991 to report the issue. Please leave a voicemail if there is no answer. We do not return missed calls or texts due to high levels of spam received. Alternatively, you may email us at cmtech@checkmateriflecompany.com.

3. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, you may be asked to return the rifle to our authorized service center for evaluation and repair.
